Mi hermano Alfonso Andre, legendary drummer/vocalist for Jaguares/Caifanes, reached out to me to play some harp and sax on a cover of the iconic “Cisco Kid” from the group WAR. It was being produced by his son Julian who also played drums on it. Back when I recorded and toured with Jaguares in 2001-2003, Julian and my daughter Jessica were around 5 years old and would be on tour with us, sometimes and be playing hide ’n seek during sound checks on stages across America. And now they are both very talented musicians as well as being accomplished songwriters and producers. Hope you enjoy the song as these are some of the best musicians in Mexico. Muy Chingon!!!
