Original music soundtrack for the documentary Venice West and the LA Scene (2010)
“Blue Venice was inspired by Charles Mingus’ Cryin’ Blues. I know they are very different and that’s fine with me.”
Venice West and the LA Scene brings out what developed in 1950’s Southern California among this underground group. The surviving poets, most still living in poverty, remain true to the uncompromising spirit they forged. Click to learn more.
