Kenny Lee Lewis of the Steve Miller Band returns to Bogies with his band, The FrenZ to pay tribute to the days of The Fillmore Auditorium during its heyday. Featuring Special Guests Chuck Kavooras on guitar (CK All-Stars) and Jimmy Z on sax and harp (Eurythmics and Etta James).
Kenny, Chuck and Jimmy all grew up in Sacramento together and frequented The Fillmore during the Golden Age of Classic Rock. Performing songs by Hendrix, Cream, the Allman Bros, Jeff Beck, Taj Mahal, Steve Miller, some originals, and more.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the Get Together Foundation helping the homeless.
The FrenZ are: Bob Santa Cruz bass, Wyatt Lund drums, Marty Townsend guitar, and Clif Brokett keys. Pull yourself away from the TV and relive this amazing era of music with us and help the homeless in the spirit of giving.
